About The School
The number of students enrolled in Albury West Public School these days is only about 150, from Kindergarten to Year 6.
When I was there in the 80's, the primary school had around 350 students each year. There were a lot of kids enrolled in the past because it was the "baby boomer" era in Albury.
Some things are still the same, and many things have also changed. I notice that there's security systems and fences around the school these days. In the 80's, West Albury Public School was an open area and anyone could enter the school grounds after school hours. Perhaps they've had to deal with ongoing trouble these days.
As a former student at Albury West Public School, I am proud to say that it has been the greatest time of my life and the unforgettable memories of my teachers, classmates and the highlights will be cherished for a life time.
